Which part of Vllage by the Sea do you like the best?

I like the ending part of the story the best because it is a happy ending. I find the book to be sad with one misadventure after another. The fairy tale ending brings the story to a happy close.
The story ends with Hari returning home to Thul from Bombay. He was reunited with his sisters and parents. Hari’s father was no longer drinking and his mother was recovering from her illness. The family reunion took place on Diwali. Everybody rejoiced as they celebrated the Festival of Lights together.
The family was reunited on Diwali, the Festival of Lights, which in India is a very auspicious day. Like Mr Panwallah said it is the best day in the whole year. It marks a new beginning for Hari and his family. With Hari’s hard earned money and plans for the future, the family can look forward to a better life and a more secure future.
I personally love to read stories with fairy tale endings because it gives a nice and securing closure to a story where the protagonists encountered all sorts of obstacles.

I like happy ending too especially when most of the story were sad.
The ending with family reunion during the most auspicious day and a bright future to a better life sums up a happy ending.
